A service upgrade is worth sixteen receptacle swaps. Both arrive through the same channel and both take a slot in the schedule. A program that treats them as equally valuable traffic is optimizing against you.
Days of research, then three quotes

They search the cost first

They check whether it applies to them

They look for evidence you have done it

The outage window is the sharpest of these and the most poorly served. After a multi day outage, generator searches rise steeply and stay elevated for weeks while people who sat in the dark decide they are not doing that again. A contractor whose generator page went live the week before that storm captures a season of work. One who publishes during it competes with everyone else who had the same idea.
The same logic applies in reverse to the quiet months. That is when the slow, valuable pages get written: the honest cost guides, the commercial capability content, and the town level pages that never spike but never stop earning either.
